QUARTO MAIL posesses one of the most interesting and international pedigrees around today.
QUARTO is in fact the only approved SF stallion out of the Olympic champion CARDENTO (Capitol I x Lord) Silver team medal at the OG in Athens 2004 and at the World Championships in Jerez 2002.
This Holsteiner stallion made his sporting career in Sweden ridden by Peter Eriksson (rider of JAGUAR MAIL at the OG in Beijing/Hong Kong 2008).
CARDENTO brings with his mother line, the interesting blood of the stallions LORD (Ladykiller ps) and the thoroughbred SACREMENTO SONG (Sicambre),sire of the famous SANDRO.
CARDENTO has already produced many winners in Sweden like the 6yr old World Champion at Lananken in 2006 and a good winner in CSI.
CARDENTO is in the TOP 100 best stallions in the world.
Like many sons of CAPITOL, CARDENTO is big grey horse, built a little bit roughly, needing the blood of a chic looking broodmare.

Which is exactly the case of HALLIGA MAIL , QUARTO's dam.
HALLIGA MAIL is a daughter of the great champion ALLIGATOR FONTAINE. She is a beautiful chestnut mare, of medium size (1m63), with a lot of energy and a talented jumper.
She did not compete as we needed her to replace her mother at the stud , so she started to breed at 4.

QUARTO MAIL is a young and beautiful stallion, who is also......full of talent.
And so, QUARTO won his category at the Regional show for 3 yr old stallions and finished 3rd at the Final at St Lô.
He showed off his true talent when free jumping. QUARTO MAIL was approved by the SF stud book.

He came back from the stallion show felling sick.It took us many months to get him back to his usual form.

In 2008, QUARTO MAIL at 4 went out to jump in the 4year old circuit at the same time as breeding back home , with his rider Ronan Lerat.
He qualified very easily for the finals at Fontainbleau. He jumped a good final, without touching any poles. Clear round the first day and then a silly volt the second day, all the time jumping fantastically. He was ranked "Tres Bon".

At 6, QUATRO MAIL will be riden by the french team rider Patrice Delaveau.
QUATRO is selected for the 6 yr old championship 2010 with more than  2000€ money won but did not compete because his rider competed at Gijon CSIO the same week-end. Very good jumping index ISO 137 at 6.

In 2011, at 7 QUARTO starts to win in CSI.
Winner of the 7 yr old International Grand Prix at CSI4* of Bourg en Bresse and 3rd at CSI 3* of Vichy. 10th of the 7 yr old Championship show (3rd stallion).
ISO 145.

In 2012, at 8 QUARTO won in CSI 2* & 3* (1m45) with P. Delaveau and the juior rider E. Levy. ISO 147.
Sold to Pilar Cordon (Sp) QUARTO competed in GP 1m60 Gmobal Champion Tour
Sold to bertram Allen, he won in CSI 3 & 5*.
Now his new rider is Andy Kocher (USA° and they won in CSI 4 & 5*.

From 2017 QUARTO was gelded and he will only breed with frozen semen to fully concentrate on the competitions.

FIRST OFFSPRING WINNER IN CSI

QUARTO MAIL , approved for breeding by the SF stud book in 2007 after the 3 yr old stallion show, started to breed in 2008.
He bred 25 mares for his first season.

QUARTO MAIL is the only SF approved by the Champion CARDENTO. QUARTO is a product from one of the best motherlines at Brullemail, that of JESSICA D (Almé) a very good winner in competitions. This family has given some excellent sport horses both in CSO and CSI.

QUARTO , just like his mother and grandmother before, is not very tall (medium size). He measures 1m66 ( for the time being). But in this family some horses get bigger later on. Some of his brothers and sisters are more than 1m70. We'll see. To make up for this, he has a huge amplitude when he gallops,which gives him the allure of being much bigger when he moves. It is an athletic horse.

He has a pretty model/type with a nice length and overall appearance.(lovely shoulder and good hips). A long neckline nicely turned out with an expressive head. Good and steady on his legs.

We will of course discover his first foals in 2009. For the moment we can say that most mares suit him unless of course they are really small.
